GeoSpaces

VIEW VIDEO (Understanding Geospaces)

A GeoSpace is a geographic area on the map that has been configured to provoke camera actions automatically, in the reaction to a specific input. Typically, the input would come from a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System, but could also be initiated from a Gun Shot Detect System, Automatic License Plate Recognition System, camera notification, or some other incident type.

If an incident occurs within that area, a predetermined action for the assigned cameras will occur.

While hovering the mouse over the GeoSpace area, the name of the GeoSpace will be displayed.

The GeoSpace button on the main toolbar displays the GeoSpaces currently viewable on the map. When active, the button is dark blue, and the GeoSpaces are visible as dark blue polygons on the map.
