Reviewing an Interview with Notes

To review a previously saved interview, open a Display View window and click on the Incident View tab. See Accessing an Incident for more information.

Using the navigation tree, right-click the name of the Incident to be reviewed to load the cameras into the viewing panes.

Viewing an interview works just like any other incident. The active footage window is shown blue on the timeline. See Playing back an Incident for more information.

If notes were entered in the Interview Room, they will be pinned to their location on the timeline as well. Notes that were time-stamped near each other may appear as a cluster on the timeline. The number of notes is indicated by the number next to the icon.

To separate an alarm cluster, simply adjust the scope of the timeline using the slider on the right.

Right click on a note icon to review the note.

The window opens and shows the name of the primary camera (usually the one associated with the audio) along with the user name of who entered the note, the time stamp, and the body of the note.

Notes can only be viewed. No new notes can be recorded to the incident at this stage.

Click OK to dismiss the note.

To view all the notes associated with the interview incident, click the Events button on the timeline.

The Camera Events window displays the notes. They aren’t editable, but you can select and copy any portion of the notes.

Click Close to dismiss the window.
