Viewing a camera in Detect Map View

Icons are overlaid on the map to indicate the location and status of a site or camera. Learn more about these icons in the Detect Display View Window. This example of Detect Map View shows a camera named ‘Demo PTZ.’ Hover the mouse over the camera to reveal the camera name.

Click on the right button of the mouse. The camera video will be displayed in the next available Display View window, or open a new window if none are open.

Another way to display video from a camera using Detect Map View is to hover a mouse over the icon and using the left click button. A menu will appear with options to Display or Show Preset and Camera Coverage. Selecting the Display option with a left click of the mouse provides options for where the video will be viewed.

If video from a camera is selected for viewing, it will appear in a Detect Display View window.

Learn more about this menu in Camera Options.
