Sorting cameras

In systems with a large number of camera assets, it may be helpful to sort them in alphabetical order, in order to more quickly locate a specific camera.

1 In the Edit Camera Systems window, highlight a site and click the Edit button.

2 In the Site Parameters window, check the Sort Camera box, and click OK.

3 Click OK if a warning pops up.

The cameras in the hierarchy are sorted alphabetically.

Note: If the cameras have been assigned a three-digit ID for use with a Network Joystick Controller, the number is not taken into account and the asset is sorted alphabetically using the first letter available in the name.

To move a camera manually, simply click and drag it to the desired location. Be careful though -- moving a camera out of the assigned site can affect Permissions settings.
