Snapshots

Snapshots are a way to quickly take a still out of a recorded video feed and save it directly to your device. This capability is available in both Recorded View and Detect Incident View.

1 In a Detect Display View window, load a recorded video or Incident into a viewing pane.

2 Using the playback controls, queue the video to a frame you want to save. Click on the Snapshot icon in the video pane  .

A snapshot can be taken when a video is stopped, or when a video is playing. The video playback does not pause when a shapshot is taken. Once the button is clicked, an image file is saved of that exact frame in the video and copied to your clipboard.

3 In the Save dialog, enter a name for the image, and select a location to save it to. Click Save.

A JPEG snapshot is saved on your workstation.
