Thumbnails

Thumbnails can be requested by the DVR to aid in a visual video search, making it easy to identify the motion that triggered an alarm.

In a Detect Display View window, choose Recorded View and load video into an open pane.

1 Click the Thumb button.

The DVR requests video from the time selected in the timeline, and pulls still frames from the live video in equal increments.

When the thumbnails are received and loaded, they are positioned above the timeline.

2 Click a thumbnail to expand it and move the video to that point in the timeline.

With the thumbnail feature active, you can still use the timeline slider to zoom the scope of the timeline in our out. The thumbnails will redraw accordingly, always in equal increments and always filling the scope of the timeline.
