Preset locations

Specific locations on a map can be saved to permit quick navigation to a predetermined location. The preset locations are available from the Locations drop-down menu on the Detect Map View main toolbar.

User and Global Locations

Detect VMS supports two types of locations. User Locations are set up by each individual user, and stored locally on the computer on which they were generated—other users will not see them. Global Locations are established by an administrator and stored in the database for access by all users.

To go to a preset location, click on the drop down arrow to open the list of presets, then right click on a location. The map will jump to that location.
