Moving a camera

If a camera has been physically moved from one location to another, it is very easy to update the VMS. Updating should happen as soon as possible after moving the camera, to ensure continuous coverage.

From the Detect Map View main toolbar, select Administrator > Edit > Camera Systems. The Camera Systems window will open.

1 In the Cameras window, use the navigation tree to select the camera to be moved.

2 Click on the new location of the camera on the map. This action updates the GPS coordinate.

3 Press the Move button and confirm.

The camera location has been updated.
