Alarm frequency options

The calendar portion of the GetSchedule Dialog box provides a handful of options to use when setting the frequency of an alarm. Alarms are not limited to a single tab, and can incorporate actions from any or all of these tabs.

The Single tab is where to set an alarm to activate once, on a single day.

The Simple Repeating tab is where to set an alarm that activates for a running duration of time. Enter a start and end date using the calendar, click the Set Infinite Range button to have the alarm run indefinitely. The Set Today button sets both calendars to todays date.

The Weekly tab is where to set an alarm to activate on specific days of the week. Click the Set Infinite Range button to have the alarm run indefinitely, or select a start and end date from the calendars.

The Week of the Month tab is where to set an alarm to run on a specific date each month. For example, this alarm would run on the second Wednesday of each month, from October 2016 through December 2017. Click on the month to select from a drop-down menu. Click on the year and use the arrow keys to move the date forward and backward.

The Monthly tab is where to set an alarm to activate on a specific date of the month. For example, this alarm would run on the 4th of each month, from October 2016 through December 2017.

The Yearly tab is where to set an alarm that occurs on a single date each year. For example, this alarm would run on July 4 every year, each time it occurs between January 2017 through December 2025.
