Incidents with Digital Zoom

When an Incident is loaded, it will initially appear with the same Digital Zoom settings it was exported with. However, you can use Digital Zoom capabilities in the Incident view regardless of whether they were set before export or not.

1 Using the navigation tree, load an Incident into the viewing space by either right clicking on an Incident, or dragging it to an empty pane.

Notice that the video feed is loaded with Digital Zoom settings enabled, as indicated by the Digital Zoom icon   .

In our example, the zoom level doesn’t make sense until the video is played, and a few seconds in the reason for the high zoom level is revealed.

The Digital Zoom level can be adjusted, even in recorded video.

2 Click the Digital Zoom icon to restore the video footage to default view settings.

This puts the video into more context. Note, the Digital Zoom icon is gone, visually indicating that the footage is being viewed at 100%.

3 At any time, the loaded Incident video can be zoomed in and out.

See Digital Zoom and Exporting an Incident with Digital Zoom for more information.
