Controlling a PTZ camera

When you load a PTZ camera feed into the viewing window, you can move the camera. The buttons under the camera feed on the left represent preset views. Click them to move the camera. See Camera presets for more information.

You can also direct the camera manually. When you click on the screen you’ll activate green crosshairs and a green box in the center.

Using outbound audio to speak

Some cameras allow you to speak into them and project your voice through speakers.The viewing pane microphone icon indicates a camera’s ability to support outbound audio.

Using inbound audio to listen

Some cameras are equipped with listening devices. The viewing pane speaker icon indicates a camera’s ability to support inbound audio.

Note: Audio for a camera can be disabled in two ways. Either highlight a new viewing pane, or left-mouse click on the active speaker icon.
