Detect Live View

VIEW VIDEO (Detect Display View)

Detect Live View is the first tab on the Detect Display View window. It is used to view real-time, live video from an active camera.

Loading video

From the camera tree structure, live video can be brought into a viewing pane by one of two methods: Either click, hold, and drag a camera icon to a specific viewing pane; or simply right click on a camera icon to load video into the next available pane

When cameras are loaded into a viewing pane, the names in the camera tree are highlighted gray. A dark gray band indicates the active camera, which is shown with a blue highlight around the video pane.

Moving video from pane to pane

Each video pane displays a cross in the upper right corner.   This is a drag and drop feature that permits a user to move video from one pane to another. This feature is used mostly with the hot-screen pane layout, where one video feed is prominently featured. If a video is dragged into an occupied pane, the videos will simply swap.
